Before opening Cases
Be sure to check if you are able to trade on Steam, otherwise our robot will not be able to send you your items.
Open your inventory, make sure there is no trade ban and it is at least 7 days after the password had been changed.
Protect yourself from scams
Everyone pretending to be “administrator”, “moderator” or “trade bot” of skinvs.com is a scammer — we will never send you screenshots of our control panel or add you on Steam for purposes of trading your items. We will never send you any files.
I have opened the case, how can I withdraw my item?
Go to your profile and click the “Send” button on the item of your interest. Once the trade offer is ready, click the “Get” button, which will redirect you directly to the trade on Steam.
There is a "Temporarily Unavailable" note on the case, why?
The case/collection becomes unavailable if it does not contain all the items that are listed in it. This was preformed to provide clear randomness. Bots are monitoring the trade platform and purchase the missing items all the time.

How does Upgrade work?
Select one or more skins of skinvs.com inventory on the left to upgrade them and receive the more expensive one. Pick a desired skin on the right by browsing the suggested ones or using sorting. Then click the UPGRADE ITEMS button.
Successful upgrade’s chance depends on the output–input ratio and varies from 1% to 80%. The smaller the difference between the price of your skins and the price of the desired skin, the higher the probability of success.

Exclusive drop is usually one of the best drops in a case. This feature transforms rare items into an exclusive second spin, featuring only rare drops.

Why do some of my cases have this feature and others don’t?
We wanted to offer a new experience for getting something really cool from a case, but some cases contain only one or two top skins; for such cases Exclusive drop is unavailable.

How can I check the legitimacy of Exclusive drop?
As with any other skin you get on our site, you can check the roll results in accordance with Provably Fair — find the skin in your inventory and press the PF button in the top-right corner of the icon.

You can find this feature when opening a case, so it can happen both during a routine case opening and a battle.

You can turn off this feature on any given case page and turn it off separately in the battle creator.

Yes. If you or someone else creates a battle with Exclusive Drop mode activated, it will apply to the entire battle.

What Are Package Offers?
Package Offers are limited-time deals that provide curated bundles of items such as cases, skins, promo codes, or deposit bonuses. They’re tailored to different budgets and offer more value than a standard deposit.
How Do Package Offers Work?
- Activate a Package Offer by clicking a special link (e.g., from an email, push notification, ad, or pop-up).
- The offer will appear in your My Offers section.
- Before every qualifying deposit, return to My Offers, reselect the desired offer, and ensure its status is Applied.
- Once your deposit is successfully processed, the items included in the Package Offer will be automatically credited to your account.
What Do Package Offers Include?
- A selection of cases
- Skins
- Deposit bonuses (such as free balance, extra cases, or exclusive skins)
Each offer comes with a fixed price and a set bonus value, which varies by offer tier.
What does “bonus value” mean?
The bonus value is the total additional value you receive from the offer, compared to the deposit alone. For example, if an offer priced at $50 includes $55 worth of skins and bonuses, the value is 10%. This is not a promocode/refill bonus, discount or cashback, but rather an indication of the added content you receive.
Where Can I Find My Active Offers?
- All active and claimed offers are visible in the My Offers section.
- You may also see reminders through sticky banners or checkout prompts if an offer is available.
- During payment, ensure the desired offer is applied before completing the deposit.
What Happens If I Don’t Use a Package Offer?
- If an offer expires before activation or deposit, it will no longer be available.
- If the deposited amount is less than the required sum, the offer remains inactive until a single qualifying deposit of the full amount (or more) is made.
- Smaller deposits do not accumulate toward the required total.
- The required amount must come from the deposit itself — bonus amounts or applied commissions do not count.
- You can deposit more than the minimum required amount — the offer will still apply as long as the minimum threshold is met.
- Important: Always return to the My Offers section and re-apply the offer before making any qualifying deposit.
Can I Use Multiple Offers at Once?
- Only one Package Offer can be used per deposit.
- Some offers allow multiple redemptions (if stated in the offer details), while others are single-use.
- Some offers are non-shareable personal offers. These may be distributed randomly or based on limited-time availability and can only be activated by the user who received the link.
- Offers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for credits or items.
How Can I Activate a Package Offer?
- Click the activation link from an email, ad, or pop-up.
- The offer will be added to your My Offers section.
- Before making a payment, reselect and apply the offer to ensure it is active.
Note: Most Package Offers are available for a limited time. Some may expire after a short window (e.g., 12 hours), or become unavailable once usage caps are reached.
How Will I Receive My Items After Claiming an Offer?
- Cases will appear in the Special For You section.
- Skins will be added directly to your user inventory once the deposit is processed.

What is Steam's "Trade Protection" and what happens if I reverse a trade?
Steam has introduced a new 7-day “Trade Protection” feature, which lets users reverse or cancel trades they’ve made — including item withdrawals from skinvs.com.
Please note: Once you click on Trade Reversal, Steam will automatically cancel all trades made within the past 7 days — even if you intended to reverse only one. All items involved will be returned to their previous owners’ Steam accounts.
If you reverse a withdrawal using this feature:
- The item will be removed from your Steam inventory.
- It will not be refunded or re-credited to your skinvs.com balance.
- Your Steam account will be restricted from trading and using the Community Market for 30 days — this is Steam’s own security policy.
We understand this update can be confusing. Unfortunately, once a trade is reversed, skinvs.com cannot resend or refund the item.

Why is my skin deposit on hold for 8 days?
Following a recent Steam security update, all trades involving CS items are now subject to a 7-day “Trade Protection” period. This feature allows users to reverse any skin trades made during that timeframe.
To maintain a safe and transparent experience for everyone — and to continue offering skin payments — deposits made with skins are now temporarily on hold for 8 days before being added to your skinvs.com balance.
What happens during those 8 days?
- Once your trade is accepted, your deposit enters “On Hold” status.
- A confirmation screen will show the exact date and time when your balance will be added.
- You can track the payment status anytime in your Profile → Payments → On Hold tab.
How will I be notified about this?
Before completing a skin deposit:
- You’ll see a warning message about the Steam update and the 8-day hold period.
- To proceed, you must check a box confirming that you understand and accept these conditions.
- After that, a confirmation screen will appear showing the estimated time your balance will be credited.
Where can I see my On Hold payments?
To check the status of your pending deposit:
- Go to your Profile and open the Payments section.
- Click the On Hold tab.
- There, you’ll see:
- The skin deposit date
- The estimated credit time
- The status: On Hold
- A tooltip on hover explaining the delay
Once the 8-day hold period ends — and the trade hasn’t been reversed — your funds will automatically be added to your balance and appear in your Deposit tab with a Success status.

Will my promo code apply to a skin deposit that's on hold?
Item prices on skinvs.com are dynamic and updated regularly based on multiple trusted sources, including but not limited to Steam. Our internal system considers market trends, demand shifts, price stability, volatility, and item availability across platforms, especially for rare and unique skins.
Since the skin market constantly changes, prices may rise or fall. By combining external data with our own evaluation, we aim to ensure the most accurate, fair, and transparent pricing possible.
How do we set item prices?
If you have an active promo code (e.g., +10% bonus) already applied to your account, it will be automatically used on the first payment that reaches Success status.
If your first payment is made with skins and goes into the standard 8-day hold, the promo code will apply to that payment — as long as it’s the first one to successfully credit your account.
- If you make another payment (e.g., by card or balance) that processes instantly and reaches Success before the skin deposit is credited, the promo will be applied to that faster payment instead.
- Tip: If you want the promo bonus to apply specifically to your skin payment on hold, activate the promo code on the day your payment is scheduled to be credited. The ETA can be found in Profile → Payments → On Hold.
Important notes:
- Time-limited promo codes (e.g., 24-hour bonuses) may expire during the 8-day hold.
- If a promo expires before the on-hold payment is credited — and no other payment was completed in time — the bonus will not apply.
- These short-term promo codes are not recommended for skin payment on hold, but can be used with any instant payment method.
